Booking / reservation frequently asked questions
Q. I'm having trouble booking online. What should I do?
If you are experiencing difficulties in booking online please contact Simone or Dave at support . Alternatively, send all your booking information via email to bookings and we will contact you to complete your booking.
Q. How can I book my places on a ghost hunt?
There are two main ways of booking one of our events. By using our online booking system you have the option at payment stage to pay via paypal or via cheque. If you opt for cheque we will accept payment of £20 only as a deposit per place with the balance being due 4 weeks before. Payment via payal must be paid in full at time of booking.
Q. How can I contact you if I have any further enquiries after booking?
If you have any concerns or feel we should know something after you have booked you can either email us or phone the WOLF Paranormal Research contact line 0845 224 6085 or 07982 240529.
Q. How long will you keep my place(s) reserved for?
We regret that we are only able to keep your places reserved for 3 ( three ) days only. If no payment is received by then the places will automatically be re-instated.
Q. What payment options are available when booking an event?
Online transactions are made through Paypal Europe secure online payment.
You may also pay by cheque (preferred) or cash (please ensure cash payments are made by person or secure delivery method at your own risk).
Q.Do you offer Refunds if we can't make the evening?
World Oneiric Life Force have the following Refund Policy in place.
Deposits are non-refundable, however, you may transfer them to another guest if we are notified at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
Requests for a refund above 4 weeks prior to the event will be paid less a 50% cancellation charge (based on full event cost and the cancellation charge is greater than the deposit fee).
Requests for a refund below 4 weeks unfortunately incur full charge.
Q. Do you issue tickets for your ghost hunt events?
Yes. Once you have booked your place(s) on the specified event you will then receive a confirmation letter approximately 14 days before the event start date via royal mail 1st class, this acts as your ticket.
Q. Do I get a discount for group bookings?
Yes we can offer a discount for a group booking as long as you party is at least 10 ( ten ) in number. Please email Simone on email or tel. 0845 224 6085 or 07982 240529 to arrange this
Q. What do I need to come on a ghost hunt?
We will be providing you with ghost hunting equipment but of course you can bring your cameras, camcorders and cables etc. The confirmation letter you will receive approximately 14 days prior to the event you are booked on will cover this in greater detail.
Q. Do I have to be experienced in ghost hunting to attend an event?
No, not at all we are here to guide you and assist you throughout the event.
Q. Are you positive I'm going to see a ghost / spirit or experience activity?
No. Although our experienced staff use different techniques incorporating tried and tested methods within overnight vigils there is no guarantee of activity. No individual or group anywhere can guarantee such phenomena occurring. You will be placed in paranormal hotspots and the methods mentioned usually do result in activity of some form.
Q. What happens if things become too much and too scary?
Activity is rarely predictable in it's exact nature but our experience tells us when to call a halt to matters. All potential guests should be aware that this is for a great many people a scary subject to be dealing in and therefore you should not attend if you are of a nervous disposition. We do have fully qualified Counsellor's, First Aiders and Psychotherapists on the Staff team so we have facility for full support in the unlikely event.
Q. Do you use ouija boards and conduct seances?
Yes we do use and undertake these under the safe control of our Medium's. No one is ever forced to participate if they do not wish to do so. It should be noted that some locations will not allow the use of Ouija boards so this is not always applicable.
Q. Can spirits or ghosts harm me?
Again we cannot determine the response to any asking out we do, sometimes the response can get physical against an individual, though this is very rarely the case. A lot of sites will tell you ghosts or spirit cannot harm you and though this is generally true they can certainly make you aware they are present!
Q. Do you provide accommodation on your ghost hunt events?
No. Usually we do not provide accommodation on our events. If one of our events does include accommodation then it will be specified. If you are looking for somewhere to stay we may be able to recommend somewhere close by, contact us via email.
Q. Do you have to be a certain age to attend one of your events?
Yes. The minimum age for a person attending a ghost hunt is 18 years of age for insurance purposes.
Q. Why does the event run throughout the entire night?
There are several reasons we run through the entire night. First off is so that we can pace the event, we have a fair amount to cover at any venue and we don't want you to feel we are rushing. Secondly results can take time so we allow for this, we break regularly to recharge and as a rule what is encountered is not a result of any sleep deprivation. Lastly we want you to feel you have really been to a location and not just paid a flying visit.
Q. Will there be food and refreshments on your events?
Yes we always like to eat and eat well just after the start of the event. Refreshments in the form of tea/coffee/soup and nibbles will also be offered on breaks at the events.
