The fantastic Galleries of Justice is based in the heart of the City`s
Lace Market and was in use as courts and prisons from the 1780s to the
1980s - although there has been a court on the site since at least 1375
and a prison since 1449. It has a long history of powerful emotions -
anger, despair, betrayal, and of course, executions!

The Gallows pictured to the left remain
standing in the atmospheric courtyard. This area of the building is
more than worthy of investigating for phenomena. Prisoners were
buried beneath the ground of the courtyard and you can still see their
enscribed writings on the surrounding walls. |
Vigils were held in the old cell's, the courtyard where prisoners are
buried beneath the ground and of course in the courtroom, caves and
women's quarters.
Our
last
investigation at this location, staff and guests witnessed no less than 5
occurences of transformations in the facial appearance of guests where
spirits have attempted to manifest themselves.
We have recorded several
unexplainable EVP's in both the women's quarters and underground cells.

World Oneiric Life Force have
investigated Galleries of Justice on several occasions to date. Each
time experiencing new phenomena and producing more areas of interest.
Obviously as we operate via a strict
confidentiality agreement, no specifics relating to this investigation can
be posted on the website but a full on-going research project related to
this location continues to progress whereby we welcome any contributions
from other Paranormal Groups.
As part of WOLF Paranormal Research's
on-going research, we have now decided to offer this location for public
involvement where members of the public can join our team for a Paranormal
Experience and be a Paranormal investigator for the night. Whilst
this is an entertainment night, we will be gathering evidence and
recording the activities undertaken to help uncover the mysteries that the
Galleries of Justice has to offer.
