Below is my true story from my holiday to Texas in the
summer of 2006, it seems even when we go on holiday we can't not
investigate! - by Simone Taylor
After staying in a 'haunted' hotel in San Antonio I left
very disappointed after having no activity other than a swinging bathroom
door. I then continued onto the next part of my holiday which was
staying on a Ranch in the Cowboy Capital of
Texas in Bandera. I
wasn't expecting anything here other than to ride horses and live the life
of a real cowgirl.

Anyway....During the middle of my last night there I was fast asleep and
the presence of someone standing over me woke me up - I opened my eyes and
focused on the black figure thinking who and what was it. As soon as the
figure became aware I was awake and watching it, it moved away from the
side of the bed and towards the bottom... it then moved all along the base
of the bed and then faded into nothing! The movement was so smooth and
seamless, almost like a gliding motion.
Something I quickly became aware of I was not scared at all - now to think
that a figure or person was standing over me in the black of the night is
terrifying but there was such a feeling of calmness and no panic at all...
very difficult to explain.
I thought about the figure I had seen constantly after and could only
describe it to be that of a tall male who even though was just a dark
black silhouette, I could see the head was very rounded and looked like
had long hair but the clothing was bulky with strange shaped objects.
Instantly I thought of a native american indian and that image stuck with
me.
The next day, during my next horse riding lesson I reluctantly asked one
of the cowboys if they had ever experienced any ghostly occurences. He
seemed intregued by my question so asked me why I asked - I then described
what had happened and he shouted his mate over excitedly to tell him my
story... they both then asked if I was staying in a cabin named 'Jingle' -
when I replied yes they said I was staying in their most active cabin and
they often get guests reporting the shower turning on by itself and
strange activities in the bathroom!
During the ride they told me more stories about how they have seen an
American Indian sitting at their campfire and in various other places
around the ranch.
I was gutted to be leaving that day to move on to the next destination -
if I had any idea what was going to happen I would have spent much more
time researching the place! Needless to say, my Paranormal
Investigator mode jumped straight in and I spent the last few hours there
doing experiments/call-outs and taking several photographs - this one
being of major interest as upon analysis there appears to be a glowing
circular light (possible orb) in the very place where the figure was
initially standing over me. (Just in front of the wardrobe)
Conclusion - an amazing surprise to what was a
previously unknown location for suspected hauntings. It is rare to
see a full apparition but there was no doubt about what I saw that night,
later verified by employees at the ranch. This particular cabin
definitely warrants further investigation - just a shame Texas is so many
miles away!!
I WILL RETURN!!
Inside Jingle Cabin - the Bed where I saw
the full apparition

Also what appears to be an orb in front
of the wardrobe in the very position of the first view of the apparition.
